I hate school parking.....

For any of you who have gone to school or an event and tried to find parking you know what I'm feeling right now. Tuesday when I went to school I left at 9:30 thinking that I would have 20 minutes to find a parking space and get to class with no problems, and boy was I wrong. After driving around for an hour I finally just parked my car in a place that wasn't a stall and headed to find my class (which I was 30 minutes late for). I wound up in the wrong class and finally found the right class after it had been going for about 45 minutes. So I was determined today to leave early so I could find a parking space. I left my house at 9 am and my class didn't start until 10 am. I got to the parking lot at 9:15 and began to look for a place to park. There were still several cars going around the same parking lot looking for a space as well. You know it gets pretty bad when people in their cars are "stalking" those who are walking through the parking lot. Everyone is feeling the same frustration of needing to find a parking space. Well after driving around for a half hour I didn't want to be late for class again, so I parked the same place I did yesterday and ran to class. I got there with five minutes until the start of class. We got out early, but I decided to go buy my book for the class. I got out ot my car at 10: 45 and found an awesome parking ticket because there wasn't a stall where I parked. I really didn't care about the violation, but at the same time there just isn't enough parking for those UVU. They're building more building where parking lots use to be. Anyway so maybe what it will come down to is me parking all the way at the other end of school and running back and forth to class.

Beauty is all in the eye of the beholder

So this isn't the photo I wanted to use, but it will do for what I feel like talking about today. There was a photo on facebook. You have probably seen it where it says "beauty comes in all sizes" and it has what society considers a "bigger girl" right next to it. She is a gorgeous woman though and she looks like she feels confident in her own skin. I want to get to this point! It doesn't matter how big or little you are, confidence is key! So I'm going to try and be more accepting of myself and my size and learn to be happy with me! So remember, before you go to judge someone who is bigger or smaller then you are in weight, just remember that they already have insecurities about whatever they currently weigh. So love them for who they are and accept them for beauty is all in the eye of the beholder. :)

Day Two of the New Year

So it is, as many of you know, day two of the new year. Yesterday I worked from 8-5 and it was so busy! My poor stand was pretty much abandoned because I ran over to concessions to help them. It wasn't the end of the world, but I still feel bad. So from running to stand to stand over the course of 9 hours, I decided that this would count for my exercise. ;) I had a couple of family issues come up, so I picked up two little kiddos on my way home and looked after them until it was time for bed.

Today is my first day off in a while and I'm super excited! I don't really have any plans which is good because I honestly just want to stay home and do absolutely nothing. However I do have some errands to run so I know that I won't be completely home doing nothing. But today should be a good day and school starts in a few days which is exciting! I love school, I'm kind of a nerd like that. Well I hope you all have a great day like I'm planning on.
