School is going well so far. It's still really busy and crazy, but I love it! I would feel like a procrastinator because I'm doing projects and quizzes and papers the day before they are due, but I'm actually not procrastinating. There are so many things due each week that by the time I finish one project/paper I'm starting another one. I really don't want to fall behind and there are a lot of readings per class in each of the books plus all of the extra outside assignments. I'm trying to make sure to stay current with my online class so that I don't lose points or get really behind on reading all of the modules that have multiple articles and videos that we need to watch. I'm mostly finishing these things at work because there isn't any other time in the day.
I do love my institute class though. I'm currently taking Scripture Study-the Power of the Word and I love it! Brother Sodeburg is an amazing teacher who I would highly recommend to everyone. This class has helped me develop a deeper love of the scriptures and the gospel like no other class has. He is so in tune with the spirit that he is constantly saying things that I know pertain to what I need to hear because the spirit is confirming them for me. He always makes me feel visible and like a person, which I struggle with a lot. He has taught me great strategies to study the scriptures and to keep them constantly at the front of my mind. Even being a busy person with tons of homework, I know that if I don't go to this class my heart would hurt and wouldn't be full anymore. Anyway, I would just recommend taking this class to anyone who needs a little push or even strategies to make scripture study better for them.
